Who are we?

Mary Mary is a brand name of sole trader Anna Forster (“we”, “our”, “us”).

For the purpose of this document, www.marymaryflorals.co.uk is referred to as “site”, “website”.

Information we hold about you

Information submitted through our website or social media

For example, when you place an order with us. We will take your order details, name, delivery address, billing address and payment details to be able to process your order.

Information about the device you use

For example, when you use the site we collect information about your web browser, IP address, how you got to the site, operating system and what pages you view.

Information about contacting you

For example we take your email address and phone number, and social media username (if you get in touch with us through one of our social networks).

Social media information

If you engage with us through any of our social media channels we may keep a record of your username and any correspondence we have with you. For example if you’re getting in touch about a refund.

How we use your information

To provide our services. We use your information to:

  • Manage and process your order.

  • Track, analyse and improve the services we give you and other customers.

  • Manage and process any refunds or exchanges.

  • Contact you for any legitimate reason relating to your order or interest in a product/service. For example, if you’ve asked us to let you know when something is back in stock.

To exercise what’s known as our legitimate interests. This is when we use data for a reason which is in your and/or our interest, and which doesn't involve overriding your privacy rights. We use it to:

  • Market products and services generally via our social networks or search engines.

How we will contact you

To provide customer services and process refunds/exchanges we may contact you:

  • Via email — For example if an item you have sent back for exchange is out of stock.

  • Via social media — If you’ve messaged us first or very occasionally if we can’t reach you by email

Who we share it with

Anyone who works for us when they need it to do their job.

Any organisation which supports any of our services you use, when they need it to offer those services. That includes:

  • Delivery companies — They need your name, address and phone number to deliver your order.

  • Payment Processors such as Stripe or Square.

  • Our Content Management System/web hosts (currently Sqaurespace).

  • Companies that do advertising for us. For example, Instagram (but we won’t share identifiable personal data with third parties).

  • Anyone who you give us explicit permission to share it with.

We’ll also share it to comply with the law; to enforce our Terms and Conditions or other agreements; or to protect the rights, property or safety of us, our customers or others.

Your rights

Access the personal data we hold about you, or to get a copy of it.

Make us correct inaccurate data.

Ask us to delete, 'block' or suppress your data, though for legal reasons we might not always be able to do it.

Object to us using your data for direct marketing and in certain circumstances ‘legitimate interests’, research and statistical reasons.

Withdraw any consent you’ve previously given us.

Where we store your data

We might transfer and store the data we collect from you somewhere outside the European Economic Area (‘EEA’). For example our website hosting company Squarespace are based in America.

We’ll post any changes we make to our privacy notice on this page and email you with any major changes, we reserve the right to do this at any time and without notice.
